The community where I live was very fortunate to have Maurin and Eduardo in the 40-year recertification process. They guided us throughout the entire process with Miami-Dade County. Maurin, the engineer's assistant, was very hardworking, and always very kind. She kept us informed of every progress, was always attentive to everything, and responded to every request from the County throughout the process. The engineer Eduardo Barreto and his team also replaced the electrical boxes in all 13 buildings in our community, built in 1984 and the boxes were in a very bad condition. This project was the most important step toward passing the recertification. They worked with great professionalism and completed the work in record time with incredible quality. Currently, 12 of the 13 buildings have their recertification letters. Only one building remains in the process but it has nothing to do with the engineer and his team. I work with Mr Barreto and Maureen  trying to get a 40 year certification for our church.  After the engineer did what he was supposed to we sent the paperwork  to Dade County.  Mr Barreto did a wonderful job getting what we needed to do, now we’re just waiting on the county. This is something that I never done before so I was lost in trying to figure out what would be happening, Ms. Maureen was a gym. She hoped by telling me every step on what would be happening.
