EXCELLENT Based on 10 reviews Posted on Rafael MonsalveTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They were very professionals and dedicated to work with us in every step to get the recertification for our building with the city of Miami Gardens. Totally recommend themPosted on Idalmis CarbonellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The community where I live was very fortunate to have Maurin and Eduardo in the 40-year recertification process. They guided us throughout the entire process with Miami-Dade County. Maurin, the engineer's assistant, was very hardworking, and always very kind. She kept us informed of every progress, was always attentive to everything, and responded to every request from the County throughout the process. The engineer Eduardo Barreto and his team also replaced the electrical boxes in all 13 buildings in our community, built in 1984 and the boxes were in a very bad condition. This project was the most important step toward passing the recertification. They worked with great professionalism and completed the work in record time with incredible quality. Currently, 12 of the 13 buildings have their recertification letters. Only one building remains in the process but it has nothing to do with the engineer and his team. I recommend this company without any hesitation and would hire them again for the next recertification in 10 years.Posted on Emma BrooksTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I work with Mr Barreto and Maureen trying to get a 40 year certification for our church. After the engineer did what he was supposed to we sent the paperwork to Dade County. Mr Barreto did a wonderful job getting what we needed to do, now we’re just waiting on the county. This is something that I never done before so I was lost in trying to figure out what would be happening, Ms. Maureen was a gym. She hoped by telling me every step on what would be happening. This company is very good. I recommend them very highly.Posted on Rolando LarosaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. - Building Safety Inspections (Milestone & Recertification): Comprehensive inspections to comply with Florida laws, including 40-year, 30-year, 25-year, and 10-year intervals.
- Structural Integrity Reserve Studies: Detailed evaluations to help property managers and owners plan for future maintenance and repairs.
- General Structural Inspections: Targeted inspections for specific areas of concern, like cracks or spalling.
- Special & Threshold Inspections: Required for larger buildings or structures as per Florida Statutes (Chapter 553.71) during the permitting process.

A SIRS is a detailed evaluation conducted by a licensed engineer or architect to assess the condition of your building and estimate the cost of future maintenance or repairs. This study ensures sufficient funds are available to address these needs and is now a requirement under Florida's new building safety laws.
General structural inspections focus on specific concerns, such as cracks or spalling, that may compromise your building's safety. Our engineers evaluate the area, determine whether it poses a structural risk, and recommend appropriate actions. These inspections are quick and cost-effective, starting at $450.
Special and threshold inspections are mandated for specific construction projects or larger buildings:
- Special Inspections: Verify that construction adheres to engineering plans.
- Threshold Inspections: Required for structures over three stories, 50 feet high, or with large occupancy spaces, such as conference centers and gyms.
The duration depends on the type and complexity of the inspection. A simple visual inspection can be completed in a few hours, while more comprehensive evaluations, like Structural Integrity Reserve Studies, may take several days. Multiple buildings or extensive areas will also require additional time.
